Report: Repairs at Rosneft, PDVSA JV delayed due to sanctions
MEXICO, Apr 23 (PRIME) -- Planned repairs at Petromonagas, a joint venture of Russian oil major Rosneft and Venezuela’s PDVSA, were delayed amid difficulties with the purchase of equipment due to the U.S. sanctions against Venezuela, Bloomberg reported on April 21 citing sources.
U.S. suppliers are cautious about making business with PDVSA because of the sanctions, the agency said.
45-day planned maintenance at the enterprise was scheduled for April and necessary details were initially expected to be supplied in March.
Repair works can be held in May or be delayed for the second half of the year, Bloomberg said.
